Today we have a mechanic special NO RESERVE auction. This 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon is a nice machine in need of an engine repair. This reliable vehicle has a flashing check engine light and runs very rough, feels like it is down a cylinder or two. This vehicle has some sort of engine problem. We do not know what it is. We have not inspected or serviced this vehicle. We assume that there is an internal engine problem, but again we have not diagnosed anything. This vehicle is being sold strictly AS-IS, for wholesale to the public. We drove this vehicle 30 miles after we purchased it to get it to our location, and it made it here fine. No guarantee it would make it very far so please bring a truck or trailer to get it out of here when you win it. Here is our breakdown of the good and the bad: The Good: Overall condition is good. Paint looks good, needs cleaned up but overall very presentable vehicle. Interior is the same. Appears to be a non-smoker. No rips, tears, cuts, burns noticed on the interior. Cargo area is clean. Tires are okay, roughly half tread or less remaining. No other warning lights. The Bad: Obviously the engine problem. Power windows are not working, looks to need a driver's door switch to fix, see picture of missing driver's window switch plastic. Vehicle has corrosion on bottom of driver's door, and rear quarters mainly driver's side above the rear wheels. Please see photos of this as well.
