Vehicle Detail
You are viewing a beautiful, very rare, very low mileage, always unmarked and never used in regular police service, loaded 2004 Dodge Intrepid Police Pursuit Vehicle. This was the last year that these cars were produced, and they are very collectible with Mopar afficianados. You will, most likely, never find another in this condition with this low of mileage. Recently out of service from a smaller midwestern city, this is a very low-mileage and extremely nice example of a hard to find car that is in gorgeous shape. In my years of buying and selling police vehicles, I have had no Intrepids that even come close to the condition of this one. The factory Deep Lava Red Metallic finish is all original and is in near perfect condition. It has beautiful Dark Slate Gray interior that looks like new, including cruise control, rare cloth power front split-bench seating with center fold-down armrest/storage console and cloth rear seats, with factory AM/FM/CD premium sound system. This car has only 49,584 actual, original, one driver miles on it. This was an administrative car, and not used in regular service. This unit has been extremely well-maintained and it shows. It has never been abused. There are no holes or tears in the bumper covers and it never had any external equipment installed. Cars like this one are impossible to find, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for a really nice one. The factory manuals are in place in the glove compartment (including the factory "Police Package" manual) and the factory floor mats are all in place and nice. I have been driving this car personally and it is very nice inside and out. It is like driving a nearly-new Dodge Intrepid Police Pursuit Vehicle. It is very clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is very nice (please see the pictures). It is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast. This is a factory Deep Lava Red (burgundy) Metallic car, not a re-paint or color change like you will see for sale elsewhere. It is equipped with rare split-bench power seating, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, air-conditioning, Chrysler factory AM/FM/CD stereo, tilt wheel, power trunk release and, of course, the full Dodge police package which includes the 242-horsepower, 3.5-liter H.O. engine (the same engine that powered the Intrepid R/T) with 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, severe-duty 160-amp alternator, noise suppression bond straps, lateral bow (roof) reinforcement, 225-60-16 Good Year Eagle RS-A police-spec, ultra-high performance radials that are mounted on the factory, heavy-duty, 16" vented police wheels with full, factory wheel covers, performance-tuned exhaust, special police-spec heavy-duty subframe, police-specific lighting (including high-intensity driving lamps), 4-wheel disc brakes with factory police fresh air cooling ducts, police suspension, heavy-duty power seats, certified 150-mph speedometer, tachometer, remote keyless entry, and much more. This unit is in excellent overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has very little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police vehicle. This typically includes; holes in the roof from antennas (this car has NONE, nor did it ever have a spotlight installed), scratches, chips, nicks, small dents and dings (any major damage will be noted in the description such as large dents, etc...that being said, this car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives excellent. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used police vehicles possible, but they are still used police vehicles. This car is one of the nicest Intrepid Pursuits we have ever seen. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP. 2004 MODELS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE IN THIS CONDITION, IF AT ALL, AT NO RESERVE. As with all of our auctions, this is a no reserve sale. This 2004 Dodge Intrepid Police Pursuit vehicle will sell to the high bidder at the end of the auction, please complete all inspections BEFORE bidding...if you win the auction, you own the vehicle. Because of increasing expenses in every regard, we have been forced to raise our fees by $40, this is the first time in ten years that we have done this, so hopefully you will understand. There will be a $125 documentation fee and a $15 title fee added to each sale, these will be the ONLY additional fees you will be responsible for, unless you reside in the state of Ohio, in which case you will need to pay the proper amount of sales tax, based on the current rate for the county in which you reside. Temporary 30-day plate and registration is also available for $18.50. We do not charge any additional fees and there are no hidden charges. Most sellers are charging double this amount currently. I welcome any and all questions you might have prior to bidding on this Dodge Intrepid. I do reserve the right to end the auction early if the vehicle sells locally prior to the end of auction (please call if you like). I am a law-enforcement officer as well and as such, work long hours so you are free to call me as late in the evening as you like. I can be reached anytime at (614) 893-3857. I will take calls 24/7 up until the end of the auction. Winning bidder agrees to forward a 25% partial payment (unless a lesser amount is agreed upon PRIOR to the end of the auction) at end of auction via direct bank wire transfer or by overnighted cashier's check, money order or certified funds. Balance will be due within seven days of end of auction or at time of pick up or delivery, whichever comes first. I will help in any way possible to arrange transportation. I can store the vehicle for up to 90 days, until pick up can be arranged, as long as it's paid for in full. I may be able to deliver this vehicle personally, depending on your location, at a reduced rate. I have been buying, selling and driving unique, specialty vehicles for over ten years now and take pride in offering only low-mileage vehicles that are not "run of the mill", beat-up cars and trucks. I specialize in the hard to obtain cars, SUV's and trucks, Dodge 5.9 Cummins and Ford 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel trucks, Crown Victoria, Impala and Caprice police vehicles, collectible and rare cars, trucks and vans. If there are any questions at all, again, please don't hesitate to call me at (614) 893-3857. I will answer all e-mails as quickly as possible. Thanks and good luck! Because of people who bid and do not contact me or pay, I am being forced to implicate a rule pertaining to low-feedback bidders. ANY BIDDER WHO BIDS, WITH A FEEDBACK OF 5 OR LESS, WILL HAVE THEIR BID RETRACTED IMMEDIATELY unless they contact me first, prior to bidding. I hope everyone understands, and I thank our hundreds of happy customers, but a few bad apples have spoiled the proverbial bunch. Thanks for understanding. Please remember, this is a used police vehicle, and not new, although it is probably in better condition than most you will see. As such, it will have minor flaws consistent with the miles and age of the vehicle, and with police use. That being said, it is in extremely nice shape and runs & looks very good. It is not what you would typically expect, or what you will find elsewhere for sale. Please, if you want to come and look at it, do so BEFORE bidding...or call me, as always, at 614-893-3857 or e-mail me and I will answer any questions you may have. Thanks!
