This 1985 Mercedes Benz 380 SL may be one of the best values on the market you will find today. The car has 94k garage kept miles, and shows better than most lower mileage examples. The car was originally a West Coast car and spent up until 2009 between California & Colorado. The body and undercarriage are free of any rust and the original exterior paint and chrome are in excellent condition all around. The interior is amazingly clean and free of any stains or tears. The wood trim is bright, and all of the chrome accents are flawless. Both tops are included with the sale and the hard top looks as if it was never used. The soft top is in excellent condition and the rear windows are exceptionally clear. The soft top did have a tear on the drivers side that was professionally repaired (see photo). The top was stiched on the outside and patched on the inside and it does not leak. The all original paint still shines like new and has a few light scratches and rock chips that were touched up over the years. The largest scratch is on the passengers side rear quarter panel near the trunk (see photo). The chrome Bundt style wheel are in excellent condition all around and the tires have approximately 75% tread remaining. The engine bay is spotless and the motor wears all of its original factory decals. The car runs and drives with great V8 power and smooth acceleration. All of the vehicles power options work perfectly and the AC blows ice cold. The original Becker radio, books, keys, first aid kit, and spare tire with tools are present as well as numerous service records.
