1966 Chevrolet El Camino 327ci V-8, 4-speed automatic – restored, low mileage, very CLEAN! Here is a 1966 Chevrolet El Camino. Color is dark grey with light grey interior. The exterior, both paint and body, is in great condition overall. Everything is uniform, straight, aligned, and kept to original specs. All the trim, the door handles, side mirrors, bumpers, chrome pieces, emblems / badges etc… are all original and re-finished, all having plenty of shine. The car is always clean and used more as a weekend driver. The tires are fairly new with plenty of tread, BF Goodrich Radial T/A's, sizes P255/60/R15’s in the rear and P235/60/R15’s in the front. The rims are custom, slot / mag all-aluminum wheels by Weld Racing. Overall, the exterior has been executed nicely and is very appealing. No accidents, clean title, and paperwork on hand. The engine is a 327ci V8, 4 speed, automatic transmission with approx. 25K miles! The engine has been completely rebuilt top to bottom with replaced / upgraded components with great attention to detail. Some BRAND NEW / UPGRADED components include: camel hump heads and cams, a 350 transmission, a Eaton positraction rear end, 3.08 rear differential, Flowmaster headers, Flowmaster Dual Exhausts (very nice sound), an Edelbrock performance Intake Manifold, an Edelbrock air cleaner, a Hurst shifter kit with floor tap shifter, brand new steel braded hoses / new cables / and belts, and much much more! Plenty of the components have been replaced and are brand new. The engine runs very strong and performs in TOP form. The interior has been updated as well. The seats, headliner, trim, and door panels are all done in grey tweed material. The dash is original and kept in excellent condition. Added was a billet aluminum steering wheel and a sport tachometer which provides for a very sporty look. Also, added was an AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo system. Overall, everything in the interior is like new, nicely done, and looks great! It’s an ideal classic 66' Chevrolet El Camino to own.
