I've had this car since 3/2003, it has been garage kept and hasn't seen any rain/snow since I've owned her. Here's what I've done to it since I've owned it: New exhaust New Headliner New Carpeting New alternator New Carb (Edlbrk 600) New vac advanced distributor New seat bases (not covers) New headers New passenger and driver side weather stripping New nose piece New paint New decals New radiator New driver side fender, had a small dent in it was cheaper to replace with NOS then have it pulled by a shop or bondo'd New battery New starter Brakes have less than 8,000 miles on them (have receipt/proof of work) Tires have less than 9,000 miles on them (have receipt/proof of work) "Z28" center caps on rims are new Includes Chilton manuals Includes GM Fisher body manual (see pic) Includes 1981 GM official shop manual (see pic) Includes mint 1981 Z28 dealer brochure (see pic) Here's what I've taken off of the car (I still have most, or all of what was removed over the years and the removed items are included with the sale of this car) Air conditioning compressor distributor Quadrajunk carb smog pump/supporting emission items Original air filter housing AC condensor Here's what's either missing, wrong, or not working: Previous owner had wired in an amp and cd player. I've removed and corrected the wiring, and purchased a matching AC Delco Tape Player (not installed but included) The heater core blew so I bypassed it. The duct work under the dash is partially dismantled, but the parts are included in the sale Power windows work but are slow Dome light needs bulb and cover Doors will need attention at some point. I will throw in a hinge kit that I bought last year if I can find it by auction close Light switch needs to be replaced at some point, but works okay. Dash lights are either dim or turn on when dome setting is selected. The dash lights work great, the switch is worn. Computer is disconnected but still installed. I had to bypass this after switching to vac advanced dist and after removing emission controls When replacing weather stripping two screws dimpled the driver side door (see pic) Nose piece needs to be adjusted to line up better The odometer works and has remained connected since I've owned it. I can't vouch for the odometer prior to my ownership, but the car doesn't feel like the odo has rolled engine or tranny drips a drop or so once in a while. I'm not sure of which because by the time I get to it its soaked into the floor. The leak is not significant enough to have caused fluids to be lower than full inbetween changes. Cruise control installed but bypassed Few scrapes, etc. see pics. Summary: I drove this during the summer months to/from the store and work. Starts right up, runs great! Average miles per summer month around 150. Rims and tires are in great shape Everything I replaced is in great shape Car does great around town, have had her up to 60-65 mph with no shimmy Engine is fresh and tight Headlights/tail lights, signals work Car is clean and straight, no uneven wear on tires and steering is tight. I've been over most if not all of this car and there is no rust that I can see/tell. Wells are clean/solid. T-Tops are original and inlcuded. I've never had the car in any type of rain, so I can't tell you how good the seals are. Glass is good, no cracks Interior is silver and is in great shape. Car gets lots of looks Car was in a minor fender bender before I bought it, resulting in a dent in front fender which was replaced. Frame is straight, car drives smooth/even and straight.
