I have lowered my starting price because I have been asked to move it and I have no place to store it. So I must sell it as soon as possible. Don’t let this great deal get away! 1994 BMW 740iL E32 4.0L M60 Engine 5 Speed Automatic Transmission Why buy just the engine or the transmission when you can buy the whole car for the price of just one? This Engine and transmission will fit in the following vehicles and perhaps some other BMW’s that can use the M60 engine. 1994 - 1995 BMW 540i 4DR (E34) 1993 - 1994 BMW 740i 4DR (E32) 1993 - 1994 BMW 740iL 4DR (E32) 1994 - 1994 BMW 740i 4DR (E38) 1994 - 1994 BMW 740iL 4DR (E38) 1993 - 1996 BMW 840ci 2DR (E31) This car has always been a California Car so it is rust free. This car was in an accident but it is a great parts car and it is complete. Everything worked on it, electronics, doors, windows, air conditioner, seats, stereo, 6 disc cd changer, everything worked! All the windows are excellent except for the front windshield which cracked in the accident. The car was in excellent running condition before the accident on January 20, 2010 and it just passed a California smog inspection in October 2009. The car has a clear title and is not a salvaged vehicle. The engine is very strong and was well maintained with Mobile One. These M60 engines were built to last 300,000 to 600,000 miles and this one is in excellent condition. This engine is Not the Nikasil engine block that had problems. The transmission was replaced with a rebuilt transmission less then two years ago around 150,000 miles and it has less than 25,000 miles on it. The cost of the transmission alone was $1,900.00. Theses transmissions last for 100,000 to 200,000 miles and since it was just done you can rest assured that it will last for many more years to come. This car’s engine and transmission are very expensive to replace so this is a great car for someone who needs one or both and can use the rest of the car for spare parts down the road. I just spent $500.00 in December upgrading to High Performance disk brake rotors and ceramic pads all the way around. I still have the old rotors and pads and will include them with this auction and I just replaced both fuel filters in January. The car ran excellent before the accident. A local body shop mechanic looked at it and said that the frame was not bent so it can be repaired. I am taking a major loss on this vehicle but I cannot afford to repair it so I am selling it As Is for parts or repair. I ask for a small deposit to hold it then the winner can email me or call me to arrange pickup of the vehicle and payment of the balance. I will accept cash in person or US Postal money orders by mail for the remaining balance. The car is not drivable it will have to be towed to your destination and the buyer pays the towing charges.
