Vehicle Detail

Hi, This auction is for a '70 Dodge Coronet 500. This is the same body as the Coronet RT and the Super Bee for 1970. This car would be a great opportunity to convert to a clone Super Bee! Currently, it has a 318 V8 and an automatic transmission (I can assume a Torqueflight 904, but it might be a 727). On Sep-27-10 at 22:14:05 PDT, seller added the following information: There is no carburetor, nor ignition wires, so I have not tried to start the car. It has power steering and manual brakes. There is a driveshaft and a differential. The wheels are 14" Magnum 500 and the tires are in good shape, but they are old bias tires and I would not necessarily recommend driving on them. It does show how long the car has been off the road since these tires are likely from the mid 1980s. The original body color is blue (B5, B7, not sure??). The interior was blue as well. The door panels are missing. The front seat is correct for the year / body (I believe), however it is green and needs to be recovered. No carpet. The floor pans are solid. The trunk pan, like all Mopars, probably rusted out. The previous owner fabricated a floor pan. The pan is very strong and solid. The rear frame rails have been repaired and appear to be stronger than factory rails. The gas tank will need to be hung back under the car (sitting in the trunk currently). The vinyl top appears to be in surprisingly good shape. All of the glass is present and accounted for. The front grilles are missing, but I have seen them for sale frequently on Ebay. Also missing are the taillight quarter extensions, also seen available on Ebay. I have a clean Illinois title in my name. I have a tow dolly and an enclosed trailer, so delivery might be an option base on how far away you are. Contact me and we can discuss. If you need the car shipped, let me know. I have a friend in the car shipping business. I am sure that there are many things about this car that I have forgotten to mention, so please ask questions. Thank you for looking. Please check out my other auctions for more automotive stuff. I am cleaning out the garage to make room for the completion of other projects. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son (Jesus), so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 On Oct-02-10 at 18:21:18 PDT, seller added the following information: The number on the intake manifold indicates that it is from a 340. The casting number is 2531915-2. I am not sure if the engine is a 318, a 340, or even a 360. Tomorrow I will try to get the numbers off the engine block.
