Vehicle Detail

I am reluctantly selling my Porsche due to lack of use. I love this car and at 64 years old (me!) I and it still get a fair share of looks from some pretty woman. It only has 94K original miles. It is the right color, Porsche Guards Red with tan leather interior. It qualifies for classic insurance which is a nice bonus. I worked for Porsche until 1980 hence the liscense plate De Ja Vu. Since Porsche did not make a cabriolet until 1983, my car was originally a Targa that was converted way back then correctly by a California firm and spent most of its life in Kentucky. The mechanics are in excellant condition (I believe the heads were done before I got it 3 years ago) with a recently installed short shift kit. It does not leak any appreciable amount of oil as so many do. It has factory air with a later rotary compressor. I have not had the A/C charged but was told by my mechaic it should work (?) From lack of use, it takes a long time to warm up. I had that adjusted the beginning of last year but it is back again. As per my mechanic, I purchased a part to fix that but did not have it installed. It will come with the car. I drove it approximately 40 miles this summer. There is no rust on this car. However, there is one scratch after the front right headlight that happened when putting it away last year for the winter (see pic). The front seats have sheepskin covers installed and I tried to show a wear spot on the side bolster and one seem split on the bottom cushion, all on the driver's seat. The passenger seat is fine. The dashboard leather is curling at the very ends. This can be softened and glued back down. It can use some stitching up of the leather steering wheel cover but it still is in excellant condition. I have extra rear seats and they are in excellant condition as well. This beautiful car comes with its own indoor car cover. I really hate to part with it since it is such a fine looking and driving machine. I was just happy to look at it but have purchased a nice red BMW convertible that is my everyday car. I also own 3 Ford roadsters from the early 30's and a pickup truck. This was still my baby! Don't expect a trailer queen but with a nice detail it will place in a car show. Please ask all questions before you bid. You are welcome to make an appointment to see the car. I tried my best to describe this gem but I may have missed some minor thing or 2. Once reserve is met, the high bidder is expected to complete the transaction and pay in full with good funds within 7 days. I will require a $1000.00 deposit with in 24 hrs via paypal or overnight express mail. Paypal will not be accepoted for the balance. I can store the car (once paid) for as long as necessary in a garage for $125.00 per month. The first month is free. I have a very reasonable reserve on this car. It must go so I did not add $$ for sentimentals! Car is sold as is were is. It can be driven home but could use a fresh tank of gas.
