Hello, Up for auction is a 1976 Ford Elite In over all great shape. It has 61,477 original miles, And has original 351 motor, original 3 speed automatic trans. I am listing this car for a friend, who is the 2nd owner of the car. The car has been garage keep most of it's time with him. The paint is in great shape, which is a nice Blue metallic. There are minor imperfections in the paint, but most are not to noticable. It has a few light dings on passenger side fender, and there is a dent behind the diver side door, which I tried to show in the picture. It is a very solid car, with very minor rust around the bottom back weel wheels (see pics), Other than that it is pretty much rust free. The interior is also in great shape for a '76. There are no rips or teres in the upholster and the carpet is in over all good shape, as well as the headliner. The tape deck is not original, it was added, but as far as I no it works. The car has power brakes, A/C, which needs to be converted to 134a, and powered streeing. The streeing is loose, which I think there is something broke where the streeing collum shaft connects to the streeing box, not sure, but it turns very easy. All the lights work, and the car runs very well going down the road. The motor does not smoke and the trans shifts nicely. The chrome is in decent shape, there's some petting, but over all it still looks pretty good. The tires are in great shape as well, plenty of life left.
