2005 HONDA S2000 Hardtop. VIN : JHMAP214X5S005732 I've regretfully decided to offer my 2005 S2000 for sale due to various discussions with my wife regarding housing and future children. She loves the car just as much as I do, but I've been convinced it's time to prioritize things. This is, hands down, the best maintained S2000 you will find. I am obsessive with mechanical maintenance and detailing, so I guarantee you absolutely will not be disappointed. *The car has 36,750 Miles, and I own in free/clear so I have the title in hand. It is 100% Stock. I have never driven this car in Rain/Snow as it's a 2nd vehicle, and it has always been garaged, so it is extremely clean* This car left Roush Honda with its new driver back in Aug 2005, was serviced there, then traded back in Sept 2008. I bought it as a Certified Pre-Owned car in Sept 2008, so the POWERTRAIN WARRANTY IS VALID THROUGH AUGUST 2012 EXTERIOR: Overall a 9.3/10. Extremely glossy paint thanks to Megiar's products I've used religiously (3-step detailing process, cleaner, polish, carnauba) The Soft top is in nearly Mint condition, and I have protected it using 303/Sunbrella products. Absolutely beautiful. The hardtop is flawless/mint due to the fact I just had it installed this summer. The wheels are in very good condition, with a tiny bit of wear on the outermost edges of a couple wheels, possibly from tire install. NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH ON THE FRONT LIP/BOTTOM of the Front Bumper (a sign of very careful driving by myself and the previous owner) Normal wear for a 36k car, namely the tiny little chips on the front end and windshield from highway driving. Not excessive, and barely noticeable, but I figured it needs to be disclosed. There is ONE very very slight ding near the edge of the drivers side door which had a very small chip, and was touched up (before my ownership) *I Included a photo to show how insignificant it is* There are TWO spots on the rear bumper where I tried to professionally repair 2 very minor chips and just made it look worse . I wasn't able to capture this in a photo, but it isn't visible unless in direct sunlight, and could be easily fixed for cheap by someone who knows what they're doing. INTERIOR: Overall a 9.7/10 This was one of the main reasons I bought this particular S2000; the car's interior appears to have only 5k-10k miles of use. I've continued to maintain it using a combination of Armor All, Griot's, and Lexol products, depending on the surface. MECHANICALS: Overall a 10/10 I HAVE ALL RECEIPTS FOR THE RECORDS BELOW. Even a printout from Roush of some of the servicing the original owner did. Tires are General Exclaim UHP ~70% remianing tread. We used to have a set on an Audi, and they're by far the best tires for the price (check consumer reports and tirerack.com). They have awesome wet/dry grip, yet the ride isn't too harsh. @ (Prior driver): Oil/Filter changes every 5k Miles at Roush @ 30,800 Miles, AUGUST 2008: New rotors/pads in front, new pads in rear with turned rotors, new tires + Alignment, fresh Differential Fluid, fresh engine oil/filter, new air filter, new cabin air filter @31,493 Miles, NOVEMBER 2008: fresh brake fluid, transmission fluid flushed for the “New Formula” Honda MTF. Best stuff for this car. @ 33,868 Miles, JUNE 2009: Oil/Filter changed for Mobil1 Full Synthetic 10w-30, stock filter @ 35,747 Miles, MARCH 2010: Oil/Filter changed for Castrol Edge Full Synthetic 10w-30, Bosch Filter @ 36,245 Miles, JULY 2010: Differential Fluid exchanged for Mobil1 75w-90 Full Synthetic, fresh Brake Fluid, Fresh Clutch Fluid @ 36,675 Miles, SEPTEMBER 2010: Oil/Filter changed for Mobil1 Full Synthetic 10w-30, stock filter. EXTRAS: All 3 original Keys, both original remotes Factory Hardtop Factory cover for soft top (when top is down) Factory "S2000" logo car cover Limited Edition hardback "S2000" illustrated book, which was available through Honda COLGAN custom bra is slated to arrive in October after many months of delays, so that can be negotiated in/out of the sale as needed. The original carpet mats are in like-new condition, but I will let the buyer keep the rubber mats as well. Additionally, it goes without saying (but I'll say it anyway) that the car has no smoke, leaks, noises, grinds, smells, etc etc. Everything works as it should, the car is 100% solid, runs perfectly, the clutch/shifter are smooth, brakes and steering are tight. It has never been smoked in, and has always been garaged. Lastly, it has been brought to my attention that there is more than one Dublin Ohio; I am in Dublin Ohio 43016, which is at the NW corner of the Columbus, OH outerbelt (I-270).
