1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, Brougham edition. This is a really nice find. Apparently 35,000 original miles. In awesome shape both in and out. Same owner for the past 19 years, 2nd owner car. Barely driven, and garaged. ENGINE: 260 V8 engine. starts right up, idles fine, great power and acceleration. Engine area was power washed and detailed. Handles well, brakes are good. No problems. Gas mileage is estimated to be from 19 city to 27 Highway. EXTERIOR: No accidents, NO RUST, no dings. Straight lines. Original paint is still good, just needs a goo polishing to bring back original luster. Brougham (material) top has no cracks or rips, just a little faded. Original stock rims with FUTURA 2000 tires in great shape. All chrome is pitless and shiny. No cracks in lights or lenses. Trunk is nice and clean and rubber weather stripping is soft and completely intact. INTERIOR: Interior was cleaned and vacuumed. As you would expect; the interior is in great shape, with no cracks on dash or console or faded areas. Seats, carpet and headliner have no rips. All lights, gauges and instruments work well. Tilt steering, Power brakes, power steering, power windows. Seat material is the soft velour, and are very comfortable FLAWS: clock is not working, AC comes on but not blowing cold, so it probably just needs a charge. there are two worn spots on the "wood" in the steering wheel center. Original paint is shiny but has a lot of minor scratches, marks and of the like. I would recommend a good polish, or a color sanding followed by a polish. Driver's side is missing the thin moulding (door guard), and has a small abrasion (scratch). The small emblems are gone on both sides (on the "brougham"). There is a "worn" spot on the top of the trunk lid/just under the rear window on pas. side. Pas. door has a blemish/scratch. On pas. side the end part of the door moulding is missing. Trunk light is not connected. N.A.D.A car value list this model between $4,000-$12,688. This vehicle come with the original "California Pink Slip" Title, and the original blue/yellow plates. I go through the car and do a check list of what is working or not, and any defects. I also drive the car for a few days to see how she "feels". Car was bought at a Benefit sale and title is in the name of the donor , But it's signed by them, and I have the bill of sales that go with it.
