This is a 1979 Ferrari 308 GTS with a little over 48,000 miles on it. It was a one owner car that was purchased in November of 1979. I purchased this car along with 3 others from the estate of the owner. He passed away 3-4 years ago and all the cars have been in storage in his personal airport hanger since. I don't know much at all about Ferrari's but was told that the Recaro seats that are in it were an upgrade and that the BBS wheels that he put on it are very nice too. I was also told that the belts should be checked. In the compartment where the spare tire would go he has a stereo system installed. I bought the cars knowing they will all need new batteries, old gas drained and maybe change the fuel filters as the gas is old. I'm leaving all this to the new owner as you might do it all yourself and save the expense of going to a dealer. As you can see the car is pretty nice for being 31 years old. My reserve price is quite a bit lower than the retail price on these but I know there will be some money that will have to be spent for battery, drain gas and maybe a tune up but not for sure on that. There are a few scratches in the paint which can be expected for being 31 years old. Please ask any and all questions as all sales are final. A $500 deposit by pay-pal must be made within 3 days of end of auction and arrangements must be made to pick the car up within 14 days.
