This is a great oppurtunity to get a nice, fast car for cheap or to get a car that you can partout and double your investment. If you need just need the engine/tranny, than you'll get it for the same price you would anywhere else on ebay, plus you get the rest of the car to scavange for parts, part out or sell. Car has 131k on the chassis. Only 45k on engine and transmission. For fixing or parts. This is the always amazing 3000gt VR4. A V6 Twin Turbo beast just waiting to be modded and upgraded into a 500+ hp machine. The car is mostly stock. There is an after stock radiator and a little bit of afterstock intake piping. The all stock leather interior is in great condition. No rips, no tears. The car's powertrain/transmission is in amazing condition and the car is still very much driveable. I've been driving it to and from work and still find it to be a very safe car to drive. This should make it easy to pick up or deliver. Major Issue: After hitting a curb pretty hard about a year ago, many things were fixed, however when it was all said and done with the steering wheel is cocked 15 degrees to the left, but "it tracks straight, so I would just let it be" (according to the mechanic who did the original work and the mechanic at san rafael dealership). Which was all good for me until it started causing crazy outside wear on the front tires and killed a set of tires in about 4000 miles/4 months. The first mechanic had suggested that perhaps the subframe was bent, so I took it to the San Leandro dealership. They suggested swapping the entire front subframe (labor = $1600, I'm sure you can have it done for about half of that at a non dealership). I have the entire subframe used from another 91 vr4 that was parted out because of engine and transmisson problem, so you would just need to pay to have the maintenence done (see note on pricing at the bottom). I own 3 cars right now and I'm going back to school in less than a year, so this seems like the right time to let it move along and to stop paying all of the fees that go along with owning multiple cars that I don't always use. Here's what you get: The car's interior is in excellent condition (if the picture make it look a bit dirty, that because it is in dire need of cleaning, which I will have done before you pick up or ship). I have an entire used subframe that is in good condition. If you want to go forward with the full subframe replacement, I can get you in touch with a guy who has the used c member and crossmember from the same car as the left and right subframe. All of the following parts, etc have been replaced within 40k (all with stock parts unless stated): Engine, Transmission and ECU: Replaced with JDM parts with 25,000 prior to installation at 112k Radiator: Megan Racing Dual Pass radiator w/ 3sx custom mounting brackets, nice new blue upper and lower radiator hoses from 3sx. <300 miles ago A/C R134a conversion at 122k. Idle Air control valve at 124k Driver side control arm and both struts at 123k Driver side hub and axle at 127k Clutch at 95k All 4 pads and rotors (crossdrilled) and front left caliper < 3000 miles ago What you don't get (parts that are gone or non functioning): Front active aero assembly (an uneccesary part of the car that just added weight...was removed) Rear aero (Also, a part that does not need to be functioning. Probably non-functional because the front aero system was removed.) SRS light is on (just replaced non-function front impact sensors, but didn't want to pay the dealership for a reset) Front right wheel speed sensor (non-functions, trips abs light when driving, but does not disable the abs system) Front tires will need to be replaced soon. Car is sold As-Is. Buyer is responsible for arranging pick up or shipping. I am willing to drive the car to a regional center to help you save on shipping if you decide to go that route. Price Note: For those of you who have seen this car on auction before, note that the higher "buy it now" price is because I went ahead and got the subframe pieces. If you pay the buy it now price or the auction closes at a price above $3,000, the entire used front subframe will come with the car. If the auction closes below $3000, I will sell the used subframe for an additional $300. Pay for the maintenence on the subframe and buy new front tires and you've got a really nice car.
