Vehicle Detail
1964 Pontiac Bonneville 4 Door HARDTOP - Low original Miles - Very nice body - Excellent Interior Upholstery - 389 V-8 Automatic - Power Steering, Power Brakes - Deluxe Radio with Functional Reverb - Trunk Reel-Out Light - Day/Night Mirror, Visor Mirror and Deluxe Roof Map Light I purchased this very cool Pontiac almost sight-unseen with the anticipation of using the drive train for another project. BUT, the body and interior is WAY too nice to part out, so it needs to move on to another collector. It will come with a clear Indiana title that will hopefully state ACTUAL miles as the old title states. I have driven it a bit and went up to speeds around 60-70 and it performed marvelously. The engine is strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. It has been driven about 500 miles in the past 5 years, according to documentation. The overall condition appears to be very well kept and original with a few good factory options like deluxe lighting group and the reverb sound system that is very fun and seldom seen these days. The body appears to be very solid with only one major blem (dent on pass fender seen in pics) that could probably be knocked out without messing up the paint. The Upholstery is probably the best part overall as it is near flawless and looks barely broken in. The engine compartment is quite original and only needs detailing and paint. Of note, it idles a little rough for some reason, but runs without issues once in motion. I assume it needs a tune up or just driven. Included is points/condenser/distributor cap. The trunk compartment has all the original stuff = jack, spare, reel-out light (functional). Some repair work has been done on the floor as seen in picture. Other than that, appears very nice and usable. All glass and stainless is excellent with no known flaws. This car would take little to dress up for shows and events. It could also be "pimped out" easily (please dont do it!). But everyone has their own tastes... It is currently on display at the National Automotive and Truck Museum of the United States in Auburn, Indiana. I can show it with a 48-hour advanced notice. This is part of my private collection. I am not a dealer. VERY serious inquiries only, please. Ty Bennett 260-750-4718
