1982 Corvette Coupe with 27k original miles. A terrific 1982 Corvette Coupe. (This is the last year of the C3 body styles). The engine is original with a 350 Cu. in. V8 @ 200 Hp. This Vette has the first year four speed automatic transmission. Power door locks, Power windows, Air Conditioning, Aluminum wheels and T- Tops. Chevrolet produced a total of 25,407 Corvettes in 1982, 18,648 of them the classic coupes like this that retailed for $18,290. This great coupe has very low mileage for the year and handles like a new car. This Vette is considered a classic now and can be registered tagged and insured in New Jersey as such. This car is not perfect but will only need the following to be a classic show car: New paint: This car was stored outside and the original paint has faded. The original exterior color was Silver. It needs no body work whatsoever, only paint prep and new paint work. New interior: This car was stored outside and the seats will need to be reupholstered. The carpets are only faded but would look great to change them also. Other minor interior details need attention such as the leather shift boot. Mechanical: This Corvette runs great and will only need an AC re-charge. The system runs great but does not blast freezing cold air. This is a very nice Corvette to drive and has brand new tires with less than 300 miles on them. This car needs to be driven, as so few miles have been put on it over the last 12 years. Its basically just been sitting waiting for its restoration that was never copleted. This Corvette will make a very easy restoration and a very happy new owner, as was the original intention. I have tried to represent the following additional photos of the actual frame/undercarriage per the many requests. The frame and undercarriage look very very good with no unusual rust or weak spots. The frame is in excellent condition as you will see from the photos for a Vette with this low miles.
