For sale my 1997 BMW convertible. This car runs well but is not perfect. Good features about the car: Good looking black on black BMW with New Michelin high performance tires and five spoke alloy wheels. Runs great, transmission works great, AC and defrosters work great, Cruise, trip computer, cd player with detachable face replaced older BMW cassette player and all fine, brakes work great. The automatic top goes up and down without any help. HEATED SEATS work fine. I drove the car, thousands of miles out to Seattle, Montana, and Texas this summer with no problems. Keyless remote, no windshield cracks; power windows work great. Black leather seats are in good condition, no rips, tears and discoloration. The black roof is in OK condition, but the rear window has some silicon where it had separated from the fabric roof. Things not perfect about the car: Needs new struts and tie rod ends (but the car does drive straight, even at high speeds over 100mph) Front right fender and right corner of hood has a small dent (you can see it in the photos) Scratches on the paint on the trunk lids from my bike rack (but otherwise the paint looks good and shiny) The window tint on the drivers side door has a few marks on it. I am completely confident that you can drive this car back to Seattle, or wherever you would like, so know that it is a reliable, fairly clean car. We have some maintenance records, reliably changed oil in the last few years (I owned this car for about three years). The title review shows that it was a leased vehicle when it started and that is true. Also shown a is mileage discrepancy which is not true. When I purchased the car from Florida it had a clean title and the mileage was correct at around 108,000 miles. I have put about 35,000 miles on the car and the current title is clean with no discrepancies. This is a buy it now auction with the offer feature and the high bidder wins, so make me an offer.
