Pretty Simple- 2004 xl f350 diesel, It needs a head-gasket, Engine cranks, but wont hold water, It leaks from the head-gasket on the exterior on the passenger side head. NO WATER IN THE OIL, I REPEAT THERE IS NO WATER IN THE OIL. I have owned this truck since 170,000 miles. The following has been done These items where done at 190,xxx miles All New shocksAll new rotorsAll new calipersNew brakes front and rearNew wheel bearings on the frontFront ball jointsFront inner and outer tie rod'sAdd a leaf in the rear springs These items where done 10,000 miles ago- All brand new OEM FORD injectorsNew OEM starterNew OEM fuel pumpNew OEM oil coolerNew OEM egr cooler Truck has good tires on it, about 60-70% Transmission is a ford rebuilt unit that was installed at 150,xxx I do not have documentation of this since I wasn't the owner at that time. We have never had an issue towing with it or just running it. Our reserve is pretty low, If i cant get that out of it I will just fix it.. but since we already have invested such a high dollar amount into the truck already, we feel we should invest in a newer truck.
