1955 Cadillac Model 62 Special This Cadillac is all original and unrestored. The car was found in the late 90’s under a tarp in a warehouse that was heated. The original owner bought this for his wife and she drove it until 1965. They had it repainted at some time in the 60’s. She loved it so much they parked it in the warehouse and they never did anything for 30 years. Mr. Ross sons were doing this warehouse when they found this Cadillac. They made the owner an offer and bought the car for their father. They put $5,000.00 in to the mechanical restoration of this car (top of engine, brakes, carburetor rebuild, exhaust and rubber). When the mechanic was fixing the car up he got brake fluid all over the front end, which they had it repainted. When the front end was being painted the chrome was redone from the front doors forward. When Mr. Ross got it he looked all over the country until he found the air-conditioning for the car. ( I have it but it’s not installed) The air-conditioning is in several large boxes. I bought the car in 2002 from Mr. Ross. I have had the transmission rebuilt in 2005. This year I have had the generator and voltage regulator rebuilt. The Cadillac has 71,661 miles on it. It is a very solid car. It runs great and does not burn any oil. The interior is all original with no rips. The power seats and widows work. The wonder bar radio still works too. The clock does not work. In the pictures if you cannot read the oil change sticker. It reads 65,408 and dated 11-19-1969. There is some minnor danage to the right side bumper were Mr. Ross backed in to his garage door.
