The Vehicle……….1999 Volvo V70 XC Cross Country in bright red with a black leather interior. This fuel efficient wagon is in OVERALL EXCELLENT CONDITION and RUNS BEAUTIFULLY! Features include all-wheel-drive, 5 cylinder turbocharged engine, automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, ice cold air conditioning, power sliding glass sunroof, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, delay wipers, am-fm cassette stereo, roof rack, alloy wheels and much more. This is a VERY nice Cross Country wagon. It's Condition..........GREAT! The engine runs smoothly with no skips, noises, or vibrations. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, and all other mechanical systems seem to function properly. The only issue I found on my test drive and visual inspection is the e-brake does not hold. All 4 tires are brand new! The interior is good too. There are no cut, torn, or badly stained areas on the seats, carpets, or headliner. The leather seats are soft and comfortable. The drivers seat has a split seam, and there is a worn spot on the passengers carpet, but neither one is a big deal. All other interior panels look great. The paint and body are excellent. There are no big dents, rusted areas, or serious scratches anywhere on the body. There are some minor scratches here and there just like any other 1999 car. The paint appears all original, and has an outstanding shine. While I do NOT represent this Volvo to be in “like new” condition, I would describe it as CLEAN, SOLID, and DEPENDABLE. I would not hesitate to put my 19 year old son in it. Driving the car..........Driving this Cross Country is a solid and sure-footed experience with a powerful engine, comfortable interior and great handling. There are no shakes, rattles, or vibrations, and the ride is just as smooth and comfortable as you would expect. I really enjoyed my time in this wagon. Things you should know..........I try hard to accurately describe all of my cars. The description is the result of a 14 mile test drive over varied road surfaces and a visual inspection while the vehicle is parked. I am not a mechanic and I do not guarantee that my description of problems (if any) is accurate or complete, but I try very hard to be thorough and honest, and my reputation reflects that effort. All of the vehicles listed are trade-ins to local new car dealers. We do NOT have service or maintenance records unless specified above. Please remember that these are used vehicles and you should expect a normal amount of wear for the year and mileage, but any serious flaws would be noted above. We add a $180 doc fee to all vehicle purchases. Local bidders are encouraged to see and drive the car prior to bidding. The Details..........Please leave a $200 deposit at the end of the auction through ebay checkout and Paypal. The balance is due within 7 days in cash or wire transfer. I have been burned by official looking bank checks that were made on a home computer, so we no longer accept checks of any kind. The vehicle is being sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Massachusetts bidders please note that the e-brake does not hold, so the car will NOT pass inspection. For that reason it must be sold for parts or restoration only to MA residents. Shipping is the responsibility or the buyer, but I'll help in any way that I can. If you plan to drive the car home, you will need to bring your own license plates.
