This is a Blue 1999 Mercedes Benz C280 up for auction. 132,000 miles. Clear Title The car is in exellent shape and needs nothing mechanical. The previous owner was a Mercedes enthusiast in Texas and this Benz wanted from nothing. All necessary maintenance and repairs have been done under my ownership as well, by a ceritified Mercedes Mechanic.. Transmission shifts perfectly. Engine runs as it should. There are no leaks. The interior is nicer than some new cars. The interior is in almost new condition. The exterior had only one fault. The car was side swiped on the drivers side. Damages were only cosmetic to two body panels (dents). The repairs were done by a professional. The windshield had a crack last winter and that was replaced too. As you can see for a 1999 the exterior is quite nice. The car would look even nicer after a full detailing, this is just after the car wash. There is no rust on this car. The only problem I can forsee with the Mercedes is the dash lights. Currently the bulbs behind the ododmeter and climate controls do not light up. The odometer works fine, but you have to look at it in good sunlight to read it. The climate controls are fine and once you know where the buttons are its not really an issue at night time. Im sure it wouldn't be much to have new bulbs put in if you wanted to. For an 11 year old car, you can't complain. . Any questions, or if you would like to see the vehicle please email. Additional Info: Here is a list of what repairs have been done over the past couple of years... I have reciepts for the following: New A/C compressor, Front shocks, wheel bearings, wheel seals, drag link,all front end parts, wheel alignment, replaced wiring connector to left headlight, thermostat, replaced brake light switch, replaced air mass sensor, air filter. Transmission and cooling system was serviced in 2008. (This will be good for 2-3 years more) The following was checked in 2009 and are good at this time: Plugs, wires, gas filter, rear brakes, rear shocks, brake fluid, rear differential fluid, power steering fluid.
