I found this 1959 Jaguar Mark IX Saloon in a barn in Gainesville, FL. where it has been stored for 28 years. The owner had been driving the car up until 1982 when it developed a leak in the rear seal of the transmission. He parked the car and never got around to fixing it. The years have taken its toll. The car is very rusty, the interior is horrible and it would need a complete, major restoration. All of the chrome is nice as well as the glass and I believe the engine and transmission are ok. I have taken a lot of pictures and they can speak for themselves. The car is 100% complete with the exception of the tail light lens and the two front fender lights. Everything else is there, including all of the moldings and the original jack. The chassis number is 790717BW; engine number NC2915-8; body number N002917; automatic transmission number JB82265A.
