This is a beautiful 1985 Monte Carlo SS - Super Sport with less than 17k original miles!! It still has the original Goodyear tires on it! This is a true find. It is in great condition and drives fantastic. Rare column shift automatic with bucket seats. The interior on this car is close to perfect. It is amazing. No cracks or blemishes anywhere. The all original exterior paint looks great and is very close to flawless as well. There is one small scratch on the hood of the car. I have shown it in one of the pics. It is not bad at all but I wanted to show it anyway. The V8 and engine compartment look great too. See picture. This car actually looks better in person than it does in the pictures. It was a bright and sunny day when I took the pics. This car was serviced last summer. The transmission fluid was flushed and filled and the power brakes were flushed. New seals were installed in the A/C unit as well. The A/C still works great and blows cold. ($950 total). I believe that the only non-original parts on this car are the battery, spark plugs and brake pads. This Monte is near mint. It is in fantastic original condition. You can buy it and start driving it and entering it in car shows right away. :-) It runs and looks great. It is a very rare find. There are not many left in this superb condition. Yes absolutely, the Monte Carlo does have the original V8. In the drop-down menu for the listing, it did not give me an option to choose V8. The only option when you plugged in Monte Carlo SS was V6 and there was no way to alter it. I tried a few different times. So, don't worry, it is the V8. :-) Also, I do think the small scratch on the hood would mostly buff out with just a bit of wax. It is not deep at all. Thank you.
