Vehicle Detail

The ever so rare Dode Dakota Lil Red Express. Only a small hand full were produced. I was told this is # 35 of 150 made. I'm not certain on that and CAN NOT guarantee it. I took this truck in on a trade and have a Tx title for it. The title is Bonded and in previous owner's name. It is also dated May 24, 2010. The truck runs and drives but is a project. A full tune up has already been done to it. Including a new radiator. The engine does have a small oil leak and the transmission does as well. Transmission shifts great and has power until you hit 3rd gear. 3rd gear does not want to work properly. Truck starts right up on the first try with no hesitation. Truck is inspected until March 2011. Reg is out. The interior is a little ruff but nothing that cant be fixed. The body has damage on the drivers side fender and the drivers side door. A new headlight switch was installed about 5 days after the trade was made. My plan was to restore the truck and make it look new again. But like all good things other things come first. The speed-o cable is broken and needs to be replaced. I drove the truck for 2 hours straight when i bought it. I would recommend trailering it but that is up to you. I would recommend trailering cause the steering is off and 3rd gear is not shifting properly. But again, that is up to you. There is no radio or speakers and only one windshield wiper works due to the mechanism coming loose. Easy fix. All gauges work. Some one at some point drilled a hole through the bed and into the cab for what i could only assume a CB. A very small hole.( See pics) The rear bumper will need to be replaced if you are going to do a full blown restoration. New paint will need to be done as well. The chain on the tail gate (passenger side) will need replacement. The tail gate itself has a knick in it. Nothing big or bad. The bolt needs replacing on the tailgate, cause it missing. There is very slight surface rust in the bed. No rust holes. No rot. The bed is made of fiberglass and the inner bed is made of metal. This is to my knowledge everything I know about the truck. I know nothing more nothing less. Please look at the pictures very carefully. I added newer ones today 9/8/10. There is no warranty. Truck is sold where is as is. It is a project truck. I cannot stress that enough. What you see is what you get. The inside of the cab is cleaned out now. Last pic is for reference only. To show what it can look like. Happy Bidding, Any question feel free to ask. Will respond as soon as possible. Thanks for stopping by!
