1999 Subaru Outback Wagon. 103K Nice Car! This is my personal car. I looked for a nice one of these older Outback wagons for a long time. I found this one-owner car in Fairfield, CT, and bought it a month ago for my wife, but she had a PT Cruiser and she doesn't like the station wagon for getting the kids in and out, and she wants a tall car like a minivan or another PT Cruiser. I got the message, and now this car has to go. This Outback is really, really nice. The original owner traded it on a Honda for his daughter to take to college. I can put you in touch with him. This car has been carefully maintained over the years. Here's a rundown of what has been done to it: -Oil changes every 3000 miles -All major and minor service maintenance performed. -Factory (Subaru) Rebuilt transmission under warrantee at 53k miles -Timing belt and water pump at about 65k miles -Extensive 90k service included new plugs, wires, coolant and transmission flush, all filters, new valve cover gaskets, accessory belts and front brake pads and rotors. -Catalytic converter replaced at 93k -4 new tires put on at 95k. They are like new. -Starter replaced with new Bosch unit at 101k -Knock Sensor replaced at 102k -new wiper blades and a muffler clamp/hanger at 103k The car is in very nice condition in, out and underneath. No accidents. Everything works. Very slight wear & tear from 10 years of low-mile use, but no rips in the interior, no dents or heavy scratches, nothing missing. There's a ding on the roof ahead of the rack, and some small ones down both sides of the car. You can't see them in the pictures, but the body isn't perfect. There is a very slight bubble in the paint behind the driver's rear wheel. You can see it in the picture, its the size of a penny and the paint isn't broken, but that's the ONLY rust I could find anywhere on the body. There is very light surface rust on the suspension components, as shown in the picture, but the car is very nice underneath with no chassis, floor or rocker rust, and its actually better than it looks in the picture. This car is really clean and well cared for. There is a scrape on the front corner of each bumper, touched up but still obvious. Driver's fog light lens has a rock chip like a BB hole. All other lights, lenses and glass are undamaged. Headliner is perfect, and the interior is really nice. See the pictures. Well equipped with PS, PB, AC, cassette and CD stereo, power locks, power windows, keyless entry remote, rear wiper/washer, factory floor mats and rubber trunk mat. I have the rear seat headrests and they go with the car- we just dodn't use them with our child seats. Battery and spare tire are good, comes complete with two oricinal keys, the keyless remote and owner's manual. The car drives smooth and perfect. Engine runs great. Air Conditioning is ice cold. I just took this car to Cape Cod for a week and it is really quiet with the AC on and the cruise control at 75mph. It is tight with no sqeaks, rattles, noises or smells. Does not leak any fluids. Uses no oil. All fluids are clean and full. No oil in the antifreeze. Head gaskets are fine. I looked a long time for one of these cars, and this is the best one I found in months of searching. Car is sold as is with vaild title in my name. Please no non-paying bidders or kids playing on ebay. Cash only, no credit cards or Paypal on this vehicle. There is no Buy-It-Now because scammers use that all the time, but my reserve is about half of the Kelly Blue Book private party sale value of this vehicle, which is $6255-$6730.
