Vehicle Detail
***I HAVE JUST LOWERED THE BUY IT NOW TO 5900.00*** THERE ARE 174 PEOPLE WATCHING THIS BIKE AS I TYPE THIS. I HAVE A VERY STRONG FEELING THIS BIKE IS GOING TO SELL. YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER ORIGINAL BONNEVILLE FOR THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY (5900.00 BIN) What you are bidding on is a stunning example of an unmolested numbers matching 1967 Triumph Bonneville that looks like it came out of a time capsule from 1983. My father is great friends with the original owner who bought it in 1967. It was pulled out of his heated/air conditioned garage where it had been sitting under moving blankets since 1983 (1983 North Carolina tag and inspection sticker still on bike). The original burgundy and cream paint is absolutely beautiful with very few flaws at all. The stainless fenders are in great condition on the front and rear. The chrome on the original wheels is in great condition. Spokes are straight and tight as they should be. Bike has never been wrecked. I brought the bike back to my house and cleaned it and worked on getting it back into great working order. Starts on first or second kick and shifts through all the gears perfectly. Pictures show without mufflers (they are included in sale). Bike still has choke lever on handlebars and kill switch which work great. It has the side kickstand and it also still has the center stand still on the bike. Original Triumph logo seat has a place on the side it where the side stitching has came loose (not torn so easy fix). The bike had a brand new speedometer installed in 3/70 when it had 7,838.2 miles on it (documented) , it now has 4,436.3 miles which total 12,274.5 total miles on the bike. Here is the list of things completed within the last 6 months -Amal Carbs taken off and rebuilt (new jets and slides) -New Boyer Bransen Electronic Ignition -Podtronics regulator -New Harley Dual Coil/wires -New (real) AVON tires and tubes for front and rear (not the Avon knock offs) -New maintenance free battery -All fluids changed -Freshly sealed fuel tank -New foot peg rubbers (Driver and passenger pegs and shifter) -New tachometer cable (tachometer does not work…news ones are about $75-$100) If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call at 704-798-5960. My name is Dustin Corl. I think you will be very happy with this bike. I normally build custom Triumphs, but this one was too nice to tear apart and build a custom out of. If you would like other pictures please let me know and I will send them to you. I will assist with delivery on my end. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping cost.
