For your consideration is a 1968 International Harvester Travelall 3/4 ton (1200 series) 4x4 with a positraction rear end. If you are tired of seeing ads that say "ran when parked" or "typical IH rust" then you may have come to the right place. This is a one-owner lifelong New Mexico vehicle that I bought from an 80+ year old man who bought it brand new in Albuquerque in 1968. It is equipped w/ a recently tuned V-8 engine 345ci two barrel carb (also recently overhauled) with excellent compression. It has a 4spd manual transmission . Miles are 145,735. The engine was "freshened" about two years ago, whatever that means. Starts fine and runs excellent. Positraction rear end along w/ 4wd mean never getting stuck, ever, around the farm,deer lease, or favorite river crossing. Equipped with heavy duty rear towing package. Dual tanks. Why sell this vehicle? This is the last of 4 1964-68 Travelall's that I have sold on ebay. I am moving to the country and plan on taking only my 1968 1200c Travelette with me. All previous IH Travelall vehicles sold by me on Ebay either ended prior to the end of auction or with a buy-it-now, so if you like it, don't delay. I price these vehicles fairly and they don't last long. This truck is the rarer 3/4 ton model in the last year of the old body style, and finding these vehicles w/ minimal rust is next to impossible. Still has original split rims. The rear window is not glass. There are a few bruises and minor rust spots which can be repaired upon repaint. As usual, no warranty expressed or implied.
