Vehicle Detail
1951 Ford F-5 V8 Truck 4 Speed Transmission For sale is my 1951 Truck, I am the second owner of this truck, and have had it for approximately 10 years. It was a project truck of mine that I had worked on alot when I first bought it, however over the last couple of years I just have no time anymore and am looking for more garage space. The truck originally belonged to a client of ours the Scott Oil Company out of Waukesha, WI and towards the later years they were using it as a parade vehicle. The truck starts and runs good, however I have always had some problems with the brakes holding pressure, but about two weeks ago I went out and re-blead the brakes and they seem fine. So the vehicle should probably be hauled. Items fixed/upgraded: -Alternator rebuilt -Starter rebuilt -Radiator rebuilt and leak tested, but leaks a little out of one of the hoses -New 6 volt battery -Has a new mechanical fuel pump and electric fuel pump -Tank removed from behind seat and a replacement was installed between rear frame rails -Two new rear chrome taillights -New rear view mirror -New distributor cap/plugs/wires -Brand new floor welded in Items that need attention: -Brakes: I think it was the right front that needs attention -Radio missing -sideview mirrors missing -Manual fuel pump wont work -Original Stake truck bed with Ford logo in a barn -Fuel tank fill and wiring unfinished -There is rust on the lower parts of the cab -Passenger window has a crack in glass -Truck is dusty and needs a good wash, been sitting indoors for many years -*This is a project truck and I have done my best to descibe defects, buyer is not buying a new truck* Payment/Shipping information: -Buyer can either pay through pay pal or cashiers check or cash for local pickup only -Buyer is responsible for setting up and paying for all shipping charges, I can assist with loading -If buyer would like the bed of the truck I can get the bed put back on the truck with a couple days notice of pick up
