Up for auction is my 1999 Chrysler Cirrus LXI. I took it to a local shop because it did not have any power until you reached about 10 - 15 mph then it ran fine. The shop kept it for 3 weeks,they said that they replaced timing belt and tensioner. Long story short it ran for about a week then luckily only a couple of blocks from my house it died was able to get it home and it will start but does not sounds right and the key will not shut all the way off so I had to disconnect the negative battery cable. I checked the engine and found bolts missing, parts not screwed all the way on, air hoses off. The shop gave me the run-a-round and I could not ever get a straight answer on what they did. The receipt says timing belt, water pump and coolant. Below are just some of the options included in the vehicle after each option I will list any problems that I know about. Driver & Passenger Air Bag Driver side Power Seat - WORKS Air Conditioner- WORKS Stereo w/cassette and 6 disk changer - the volume knob is broke it will turn up and down but you have to play with it, everything else worked before it went in the shop. Leather Lowback Bucket Seats - the leather is in poor shape cracked and pulling apart 4-Wheel ABS - 4 wheel disk brakes - Front has new brakes and rotors Cruise Control - Works Front Wheel Drive V6 Cylinder Engine - In the last year we had changed the spark plugs distributor plug wires Leather Wrapped Shift Know - normal wear Power Door Locks - RR works manually Compact Spare Tire -huge trunk and the back seat lays down completely for even more room Power Steering sunroof - worked before the shop got ahold of it now the switch wont even stay where it is supposed to. Have not checked it but I dont think it works Adjustable Steering Wheel 4-Speed Automatic Transmission - has a small leak I think it is a seal Aluminum Wheels + an extra set of 4 rims and tires Power Windows - Works Paint - The clear is coming off on the trunk, hood, and the top. and some scratches Body - has small dent on F.R. door and on the trunk Interior - Needs a good cleaning but no major problems Please contact me by email to arrange a time and date to inspect the vehicle.
