Vehicle Detail
1972 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY WAGON ~~~~~NO RESERVE~~~~~~~ You are looking at a solid 1972 Chrysler Town & Country wagon. This car has been used for only long family trips the last 15 years (Yellowstone, Grand Canyon and California). The 440 Motor and trans were completely rebuilt at 149k miles. She is a road warrior and will go anywhere and always fires right up on the first crank. If you are looking for something extra cool then consider this one. The interior is 100% original and there are parts that are in wonderful condition and parts that need some attention. The front seat has some splits and could use a couple Vinyl panels to fix. The rear seat is near excellent. The door panels are in wonderful shape and the dash is great with no cracks but a couple of old man doo-dads that can be removed. The carpet is original and has plenty of life to give. The rear hatch carpet is pretty shot from stuff being dragged in and out. The original radio is there but an after market one has been installed under the dash. The wiper motor works but the driver arm was removed because the motor would not turn off....I got the fixed and all that needs to be done is the arm reinstalled. Keep her dry! EXCELLENT DRIVER! 18k ON 440 MOTOR AND TRANS! POWER STEERING POWER BRAKES POWER LOCKS POWER SEAT ORIGINAL FLOOR MAT A/C (works) 6 SEATER The paint is original and has plenty of "dings, dongs and dang it's" but nothing too major and nothing that would require major surgery. The faux wood has long ago been removed and repainted a cream color. I looked into replacing and found it to be rather inexpensive to buy and the install is about 2 hours. The chrome is in excellent shape up front and good shape in the rear. THE BODY IS SUPER SOLID with a small patch of surface rust on the passenger wheel well the size of a quarter. I have sold two of these from 1972 and one sold for 12500 (nice #2) and another for 9800 which was a very solid #3. I would call this bad boy a weak #3 with a only a little needed to get her to a #3. Cosmetics! I found a gorgeous 72 on Hemming's going for 16500 so I think this car is very fair at this price. Know that the car does not look bad as it is! ONCE AGAIN, SHE IS A VERY MECHANICALLY SOUND UNIT( love that word) AND READY TO GO! Questions?Sean 206-326-9240 OVER 500 CLASSICS SOLD ON EBAY! PLEASE READ THAT FEEDBACK!
