Please read ad carefully! I have described to the best of my knowledge. Rare intercooled turbo diesel 3.1 liter (model 4JG2) from japan. This is a custom diesel conversion. Over 100 hrs of labor for a factory finish. There are only a handful of these in the US as this is a very labor intensive process. Vehicle originally had a 3.2 liter gas engine which was replaced with the 3.1 diesel for better fuel economy, power and longevity! White/gray exterior with gray leather. This is the limited model which has the following features: power windows/doors/locks/mirrors/ 6 way power heated seats, euro style headlight wipers, huge power moonroof, shift on the fly 4WD, cruise, a/c,heat, fog lights. Exterior of vehicle is in very good condition for its age with a few minor dents/scratches, no rust anywhere!!! The paint is shiny. Interior front seats are a bit worn otherwise the rest is in excellent shape. 3.1 liter intercooled turbo diesel with matching 5 speed transmission with overdrive from japan. Hood scoop is for the intercooler. Has a manual glow plug warmer switch located conveniently underneath the dash. Unbelievable gas mileage averages 25 city/30 HWY!!!!! Plenty of power and torque from this diesel power plant. Everything works as it should!Here is some states on this engine from isuzu... From 1992, the UBS Series ("Holden Jackaroo", as it is known in Australia) was available with a pushrod overhead valve (OHV) 3.1 L in-line 4 cylinder intercooled turbodiesel (designated 4JG2) producing 114 PS (84 kW; 112 hp) at 3600 rpm, and 260 N·m (192 lb·ft) at 2000 rpm. It was offered as an alternative to the 3.2 litre petrol, as a more rugged and fuel-efficient option for towing and heavy-duty operation. The diesel-powered Jackaroo was available with a five-speed manual transmission and manual front hubs only coupled to a part-time 4wd system with open front and limited slip rear differentials. The 2.283:1 low range can be selected on the move, providing the front hubs are engaged, at up to 15 kph 1st gear, 25 kph 2nd gear and 40 kph 3rd to 5th gears. Here is a list of recent work done to vehicle. All work done by ASE diesel mechanics. Have all receipts for work done. Spent over $10,000.00 in the last year on new parts!!!! New Head with valves/springs ( 7/10) New Turbo unit ( 3/10) New alternator (3/10) New battery (3/10) Rebuilt suspension with old man emu shocks/springs- lifted 2' from stock (3/09) New tires(3/10) have approx 10,000 miles on them Rebuilt Bosch Injection Pump (1/10)- Biodiesel compatible seals Electric fan installed in place of belt driven fan New water pump(2/10) Timing belt replaced(2/10) All new rubber lines for motor(2/10) A/C recharged and serviced (3/10) Very minor fixes Tach doesn't work as its a diesel conversion. Front drivers seat has some tears and could be redone at some point(see photos). Cruise control and a/c/heater lights are out on the dash and work perfectly, a very minor fix! Has original stereo, only the radio works. Has a separate a/c and washer switch underneath steering wheel. If your looking for a vehicle that will go anywhere and still cruise at 80 mph and return over 25 MPG than this is the vehicle. Its hard to find a 5 speed diesel SUV that is roadworthy in all conditions. Everything works as it should. I have gone through this car over the last two years with utmost care and attention to detail. This is my daily driver and is ready to drive anywhere!!!!! Compression is running even in all cylinders with a brand new head. I currently run b-20 and b-99 when i can get it and the engine runs great on it. I am selling because i no longer need an SUV. The top end of the motor was just rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago. It runs like a new car! Here are some breakdown costs on what it would cost to the conversion. donor isuzu trooper with clean body, no rust,etc- 2,500.0 3.1 diesel engine &transmission- $3,000.00 Engine swap- btw 80-100hrs @ $75.00 per hr for a diesel mechanic= 6,000- 7,500 Add replacements parts for a vehicle that might be 10+ years old such as: suspension, brakes,ac/heater system, drivetrain, turbo,etc- I estimate you would end up spending around $15,000+ to get a car with no issues after all was said and done. For example, when the diesel engine was purchased from japan it had a non functioning turbo.
