1981 Honda Honda

1981 Honda 400 Custom motorcycle for sale.... just got it last year and am selling because I bought another bike...no other reason!!! In fact, hate to part with it! I learned to ride on it and absolutely love Honda because they run and run like a machine. This bike is in VGC for it's age. It has no leaks! It was inspected this past May and passed, plus runs solid with two riders (me and my 16 year old son). It had an oil change, lube job done by dealer which stated the bike was in great shape. Bike has tires that are one year old and have average wear...still have a lot of tread. The good: 1) great beginner bike...I am a 5-4 lady and this bike weighs approximately 381 pounds according to the manual (which is included)...easy to handle 2) body is in great condition...does not look like a 1981 bike....side panels have fading, but chrome is in great shape with very little rust other than kickstand and a little on the rim opening of the gas tank 3) bike gets approximately 150 miles to a tank of gas...also has a reserve tank 4) comes with brand new choke cable which I purchased to change but because the cable is OK on the bike I haven't changed it yet 5) comes with used inner fender for the back that I purchased off of ebay but never put on 6) comes with a king and queen seat which is very comfortable 7) comes with a sissy bar 8) miles are 28,211 on odometer which may change as I still ride it 9) great commuter bike 10) have been running it all summer and starts right up with the choke...will take a little more encouragement on cold mornings or if you don't ride it consistently 11) comes with original manual and tool kit which is under the seat. 12) fairly quiet bike...will not upset the neighbors ;) 13) bike has been garage kept for past year 14) new light bucket placed this summer The questionable about the bike: 1) There is a small dent in the shell of the tachometer - no big deal I live about 2 hours east of Pittsburgh near Johnstown....if you want to come and look at it or have questions...email me.... I have title in hand and it is ready to ride home if you want This bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early.... The pictured windshield and luggage rack are NOT included with bike!!!! $250 is due at end of auction through PayPal.....rest needs to be paid at time of pick-up...I will only except cash before bike or title is exchanged.....tax, tags, and title change is responsibility of buyer....there is a AAA near my house so we can go there... I will not ship bike! Buyer has 7 days to pick-up unless other arrangements are made.... This is a great bike...even for a collector because of the age... any questions, email me!
