Vehicle Detail

This is a 1985 Mustang SVO 2.3 4cyl Turbo. The car needs some TLC but overall engine tranny are in good condition, body is in fair condition for a 25 year old vehicle. The engine runs and transmission shifts smoothly. The hood was replaced due to a dent from a falling branch, the doors were replaced due to rust along the lower edges. I do have the original 2nd spoiler but it has a crack underneath that can be repaired and it can be remounted. Original color was white, previous owner had the car painted burgundy. Door locks stick a little bit but still function. What it needs: Emergency brake cables, (I have them and they are included) Steering rag joint, there is some play in the steering at top center (I have the rag joint and it is included) Hatch does not close properly due to the hatch bushing (I have it and it is included) Needs paint (can be buffed out to look decent, but needs a good paint job), rust spot just under rear window frame Needs rear hatch supports (have not installed them yet, but they are included) Needs undercoating spray (rear axle, sway bars, interior engine compartment, suspension have rust), needs spray with rust encapsulator Battery (battery is dead) Needs tires, tires have some tread left but are old. Rear passenger side tire has a slow leak. No a/c or not working. Radiator has been wired to be on constantly. There was a fuse holder installed under the hood near the radiator, it is getting old and occasionally when I turn the key once the fan does not go on, so I must adjust the fuse as it sits in the holder. It needs a new fuse holder installed. (fuse holder shown in photo next to radiator cap). The good: Engine starts and runs smoothly, turbo spools up as it should, transmission shifts smoothly, may need a clutch eventually but there is life left in it. Interior is nice and clean, cracked dash was covered with a plastic mold direct replacement. New OEM exhaust pipes from cat back. New radiator and radiator support were installed. This would make a nice SVO project. It might never be a collectors item, but with a little effort and TLC it would be a decent SVO mustang for cheap. I wanted to do the rest of the work and add $1k to the price, but I just do not have the time and need the funds for a vehicle I just purchased. ***** Buyer accepts this as a project car in "as-is" condition. I have been completely honest in my description and currently know of no other issues. It does not mean they do not exist.
