If you know anything about Jeeps, you will know that they are among the finest 4X4s on the planet. This Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is the finest 4X4 I have ever owned. Why? Well, it is practical due to the four doors. With three kids, it is amazing to have plenty of room for all kids, plus a passenger up front, while still having plenty of room in the back for groceries, luggage, backpacks, etc. If you are a parent, then you will cherish the room it has. If you are not a parent, then you will cherish the practically endless space this vehicle has....for storage from anything from hunting equipment, camping, biking, etc. The possibilities are endless. The four wheel drive components on this Jeep are amazing. First of all, it goes and goes and goes through snow. It amazed me last year, as we got slammed with snow...I am not talking inches, I am talking feet. This Jeep was unstoppable. While schools were closed, and many roads were closed, the kids and I were heading to the ski slopes for some fun. Not only does this Jeep have high and low range, it also has a button on the dash panel to lock the rear axle, as well as a button on the dash to electronically disconnect the sway bar. I have only used the rear axle lock once, as I was driving through almost three feet of snow that had drifted in the parking lot near the ski lodge. Guess what??? It went like a tank. I am the original owner of this fine vehicle. I know of absolutely NO PROBLEMS with it. Nothing wrong at all. It will need tires before winter, but they are good for a while yet. (See below for more info on other tires and wheels) Of course, it is an 08, so it isn't new. However, it is a head turner. It has always been garage kept its whole life. Yes, it has been pampered. I am a 43 year old man, that babies this thing. It has not ever been driven by some young punk that ragged the heck out of it. It has been always serviced by the local Jeep dealership, with the oil being changed religiously every 3000 miles. When I bought it, I purchased a "lifetime" oil change program. Believe me, I wanted to get my money's worth. I could probably get the dealership to print out the service record...but not sure. It is due to be changed again, and I will ask when I am in there. I am going to try to have it done before the sale is complete. Therefore, let it be known that it is a daily driver, and there may be a couple of hundred additional miles on it before the auction ends, but no more than that. I left everything as stock, except that I added OEM Jeep running boards, to assist the passengers and more importantly to protect the paint and body. I also added a K&N Air Filter system. I have the original air box that will go with the Jeep at the time of pick up. I also added the neoprene cushioned arm rest pad and the dash organizer, both from Quadratec. UHaul added a trailer hitch and a four flat wiring system. I have a few other items for the Jeep that I will discuss the purchaser if they are interested. They do NOT come with the sale, but can be purchased. They consist of a Quadratec spare tire CB antennae mount and antennae, some type of electrical connection for the hook up of a CB, some MOLLE bags that mount to the tailgate, and most importantly, another COMPLETE SET OF JEEP OEM WHEELS AND TIRES. They are take offs from a Rubicon and are the BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires, with about 4000 miles on them. I have all five with matching TPMS that all you have to do is take of the "street tread" wheels and tires and put on the other set. Let me know if you have any questions.
