I bought this car three years ago in Los Angeles. It has a salvage title which is the way I bought it, I think on carfax it says hit a fixed object. I have never had any problems related to that accident. Mechanically the car is in great shape but cosmetically it could use some help. The things needing fixed are the seats, window, and headliner. The reclining function broke on both vader seats just recently and the window motor went out about six months ago. The headliner I believe was ripped down by the kids unfortunately. I need to sell this car so I can upgrade to a bigger vehicle. This car is amazing to drive and It's my first m car and definitely wont be the last. When I bought the car I took it to riverside bmw and had it inspected and an oil change done with all the list of repairs they suggested be done. I had all these problems fixed and even had the ac compressor rebuilt and new freon put in along with some more ac parts which was over a thousand dollars. I have all the receipts for this car except for a few. Ill tell you a little bit about what ive done to it. It has dinan software, dinan suspension, dinan exhaust, 3.5" intake, x brace, I replaced the dinan front sway bar with a uuc swaybar and new links. I put a new K&n cone filter on the intake. 6 months ago I put new tires on and had the radiator replaced. year and a half ago I had the front control arms replaced, tierods, bushings, front rotors turned, and new guibo(flex disc) installed. 2 years ago I had a new sachs clutch put in. Ive had new pulleys and belts put on also. It has 160,000 miles on it but runs very good. The battery just went out also so when the auction ends I will go purchase a new battery to put in it. It went out last week, I believe there around 150. Like I said cosmetically it could use some help there are some small hail dents on the car and the front of the car could probably be resprayed. one of the headlights is a bit yellowed and I took the foglights out because I got tired of breaking and replacing them. There is a full size spare in the trunk with a tire on it and a multi disk cd changer in the trunk also with most of the tools in the tool kit. I'm sure ive left some things out feel free to contact me and ask me any questions. I don't have the receipts for the clutch work and suspension work but I have all my car work done at bavarian automotive which only works on bmw and are factory trained technicians. So i'm sure they have everything on file and when I sell it i'll try to get these receipts to go with it. I also went to the dealership about 8 months ago and had a new key made. Well happy bidding and good luck. :On Sep-04-10 at 06:42:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Just bought a battery and installed it.On Sep-07-10 at 09:49:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I just found the receipts for the clutch and front suspension. The clutch was replaced at 120511 and I also had a drive shaft coupling put on. At 136,378 I had the front wheel bearings replaced, along with a tierod and front wheel alignment. They also replaced the front control arms, power steering hoses, and at the same time the new front uuc sway bar was installed. On Sep-07-10 at 13:53:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Just completed an oil change on it so it's ready to go, had a guy come look at it today and test drive it today and found out I was wrong on the mileage, it has 151,098. You will need to get the code for the radio since I replaced the battery and it does have the multi-disk cd changer. Like I said in the description it has some paint chips on the front of the car that are red because the paint chipped off and the red is underneath but only on the front clip and the piece around the grill, and a few chips on the very front of the hood. And the lights could use some help because the one light is yellowed and it will probably need new clear corner lights because one of the tabs broke on one of them but i think new ones are like 30 bucks. The car drives exceptionally well and is ready to go.
