Up for sale is a 1977 Jeep CJ5 Levi's Edition all original with only 30,301 actual miles. The exterior is green metallic with gold pen stripe and the interior is tan with the Levi's buttons on the seats. The vehicle is in very good condition with only some minor surface scratches on the paint and some repaired rusting spots on the rear section. It runs and drives great and everything needed to pass a state inspection in Texas is operational. It has a Dayton 10,000lb. winch attached to the front. The rear of the vehicle had some rust damage and I applied some bedliner material to stop the rust. The front floor boards were also showing some signs of rust and bedliner material was applied there as well. I attempted to show this in the pictures but I can supply more pics if needed. The only mechanical problem is a sputtering noise when the engine heats up after driving for a while; sounds like it is coming from one of the vacume lines. It runs great and I would periodically drive to work just to keep it running great. My dad bought this Jeep new in 1977 and I obtained it from him in 2007. It has never been kept outside. Some of the milage is from being towed on family vacations. The Jeep has a soft top which is in very good condition (not the original soft top). The only problem with the soft top is two small holes, one on each side, caused by my son doing target practice while it was parked in the barn. The exhaust and fuel tank have been recently replaced.
