Vehicle Detail
I bought this Mazda earlier this years for myself. I drove it home and realized it was why to small for me. I offered it to my wife and she had her eye on a newer Grand Am I had. I was going to give it to my Daughter who is going to college but all my kids fought about it because everyone of them wanted the car, so to keep piece in the family, I am putting it up for action. It is a very nice car, clean inside and out. It must have been garage kept most of its live because their is no real sign of rust. The paint is good with some small dinks here and there. Their is some paint fading on the rear spoiler were the air foil hits it. It has a Kenwood CD in the trunk, sunroof that works and does not leak, real good tires, I would say like new up front and at least 60% in the rear. Brakes look good, steering is tight. It starts right up and runs smooth. This would truly make a nice car for a daughter or son going to college. Very stylish and always a big cult following on this car, just U-Tube Mazda MX-6. This car seems adult driven because it has no real sign of abuse. The only real problem I can see with the car is that the exhaust is starting to get a bit loud. I have not crawled under to see what it was. I have a buy it now of $2200, and at that price I would fix the exhaust before pickup. I would also consider repairing it for a reasonable fee if it sells below the buy it now price. I would have fixed it before listing but many people like to put custom exhaust on these cars and did not want to go through the expense and time just for someone to rip it off and put an performance exhaust on it. From what I can tell, it does not have a performance chip in it, the motor seems factory. The trans works just like it should, without jumping or slipping, shifts real smooth. I only drove it for about a month until the NJ temp tag ran out, but I never had any hesitations to take this car on long trips. It has been sitting for the past few months and I start it up and drive it around the development I live in at least once a week. I pick my son up at his friends house about a mile away, so it has not been sitting and rotting. Please email me with any question, or more pics. Sorry, realized I had not taken a pic of the right side, so that pic was done a dusk and looks dark, but their is no damige being hidden, just a look at the right side. Real clean car and seems real safe. A joy to drive if I was not so tall and my knee did not kept hitting the center console. Down payment of $200 dollars is expected at end of auction, and must be paid with cash 7 days of auctions end. Thanks for looking.
