1960 Chevrolet Apache Stepside ½ Ton Longbed Pickup I have had this truck for about five years. This was a running and driving truck until about two years ago when I removed the original 235 6cyl (with three on the tree) to install a small block V8/auto. I never got around to doing the installation. There is currently no motor or trans in the truck. I am selling this because I have decided to keep my ten year old suburban around as a tow vehicle instead of fixing this one up. Under my ownership I did the following: Four wheel brake job with new wheel cylinders, shoes, soft lines and master cylinder. The drums were turned. Serviced the rear end with new pinion bearing and seal. Put on a good used set of Goodyear tires. New rear parking brake cable. The parking brake works as it should. Good used speedometer. New drivers door glass and regulator. Refinished parking light housings with new lenses. A new front signal light harness is included, but not installed. I brush painted the roof with Rustoleum to protect it until the truck is properly repainted. Refinished the dash and installed a new glove box liner. Purchased very good used tie rod ends and lower ball joints, but not installed. Purchased new gas tank filler hose and grommet, but not installed. The gas sender/gauge was working when I was driving the truck. The original one piece driveshaft is included. This is a straight and solid project truck.
