Vehicle Detail
1971 Dodge Powerwagon 300 Firetruck. It has 4x4 and only just under 14,000 miles on it. It is a 383 engine with a 4 seed transmission. It comes with all kinds of goodies on it including a 300 gal. water tank, 2 hoses that reel up, lights, sirens, and a winch on the front with very nice bell. It also has lots of storage. It runs and drives nice and would make a great firetruck for a small town or for grass prescribed burning for wildlife management. Bought from a small town a couple years ago for burning grass. Sold the land and don't need the truck anymore. works great and is fun to drive. Would make a nice parade truck also. This truck can be seen by appointment. Email or call 712-870-4501 to make arrangements or if you have more questions. On Aug-31-10 at 12:41:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a couple more pictures, one of the motor and one of the tag on the door jam. I hope this helps with some of the questions you may have. Also this truck has duals tires on the back and a PTO. It does also have a Bell on the front which was suppose to be very spendy. Not sure on all the specifics but I will try to find all I can if you ask. ThanksOn Sep-02-10 at 13:24:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a picture of the winch. Here is a bit more info about the truck. The cab and door jams are orange in color. Not sure if it was painted at one time or another. There is no rust on the body. The body is solid and the floors are solid at least under the floor mat by the doors. The rest of the floor mats are stuck or at least seem stuck and I dont want to pull them off. The PTO runs the winch in the front. I have never used it and not sure if it works. We have greased the winch and it is free while in the free mode. It does have some kind of power steering on it. The truck does pull to the right a bit while stopping. There is also a tear or slit in the driver side of the seat. It is a 2 barrel carb. and it could use some new seals or gaskets as it has been sitting for a while. We have used it a few times in the past 5 years or so for grass fires. The truck is in great shape, no rust and no dents. Some of the stuff may or may not work as we didnt use everything but If you ask I will try to find out if it works or whatever you may want to know. Thanks
