I am the second owner of this very nice 2006 GTI. I have all the records for the last two and a half years I have owned it and some of the records from the first owner. Always in the desert. Always garaged at home and in a parking garage at work so interior and paint are beautiful. Titanium window tint. Most services perfomed by dealer. 6 disc CD stero. interlagos seats. automatic with padle shift option. Brakes still have pleanty left on them. AC system entirely replaced last summer under warranty and blows icy cold. Windshield was replaced recently and is chip/crack free. This has been my daily driver for a 60 mile/day freeway commute to work, so the miles are high for this age, but they have been all freeway. This has been a great car for me and i hate to part with it. With the rear seats folded down i could fit my mountain bike in the back (with a tarp under it of course to protect the interior). very spacious, versitile and sporty car. I average between 28-32 MPG on my daily commutes depending on whether or not the AC is on. Great passing acceleration. Everything is stock/original. I am very particular about the maintainace of my car and i think it shows in the pictures below. There is a couple of notable rock chips on the hood pictured below and a ding in the driver side door and the passanger side door. The reason i'm selling? I just bought my dream car, a 1987 Porsche 911. Not as comfortable as the GTI, not as reliable, but come on! Please ask questions if i forgot to mention anything. Since the title is held by my bank who i have the car loan through I didn't think 'clear' was correct, but it is not a salvage title or anything like that, it's just that the bank holds the title and i need to pay the car off before having title in hand which I guess is what i assumed 'clear title' meant. Please let me know if you have further questions. Car is smoke free/food free. The reserve on this auction is thousands less than Kelly Blue Book value.
