We are Moving so I MUST SELL my newly aquired Merkur! I hate to sell it, but such a huge move from FL to Indiana Forces me to sell. CAR IS LOCATED IN SOUTHPORT FLORIDA 32409 just outside of panama city, FL Up for auction is my 1989 Mercury Merkur NOTE: this is NOT a new Car. If you are expecting a NEW car, DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR. People that Know the Merkur Xr4ti's, KNOW that this is one BAD Car with Great potential. This car is titled and Insured in FL. It will crank and run and drives Good. Lots of Power, and engine is smooth. I have not driven more than 40 miles or so since made road ready. These are drivability problems that I have not corrected: *the fuel tank either needs to be cleaned or replaced. It is plugged up a new fuel filter with rust. *A/C blows cold but compressor seems noisy sometimes *This car has the Exhaust Downpipe on it at this time, with the cat, muffler and pipes removed. I still have the exhaust system as I was going to have flowmaster installed. I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS CAR ON ANY LONG DISTANCE DRIVES SO RELIABILITY CANNOT BE COMMENTED ON. INTEND ON TOWING OR DELIVERY COMPANY TO HAUL HOME. NOTE: THIS CAR WILL START AND DRIVE ONTO A TRUCK OR HAULER, OR CAN BE STARTED FOR TESTING. The fuel filter WILL eventually clog up as stated above, so do NOT expect to drive this car home. It comes with these Main Features: NEW KYB Front Struts ans Springs LA3 and LARGE VAM Swap (installed correctly) New MSD ignition Coil NEW Spark Plugs, Wires, Distributor Cap, Ignition Rotor New Throttle Position Sensor 5 Speed Standard Transmission (stock) New Front Rotors, Pads, Front Tires Balanced (rear needs balance) New Air Filter, Oil Change, ect 2 new electric radiator fans, 1 new condensor fan New Hoses New Rainex Laditude Wiper Blades New Battery EXTERIOR: paint is in fair condition passenger door has a nice size dent as shown in pictures has normal stratches for its year Damage to drivers fender, plastic wheel moulding is in back of car hatch INTERIOR: seats have some wear, and seat back adjuster is off of seat but in rear floor No stereo or equalizer passenger side dash is dented Overall this car would make a great race car or everyday driver with VERY LITTLE HELP.
