Up for auction is a beautiful 2003 Ford Crown Victoria with the police interceptor package. This car was never put into police use. It was used as an administrative car for the mayor of Salt Lake County. Then it was put up for auction at 13k miles, when I purchased it (in about 2005). Since then, the oil has been changed every 3k miles with Mobil 1 fully synthetic and has been cared for meticulously. Less than 200 miles ago, the car was fitted with new tires and new brake pads. Car has the usual chips and scratches at this mileage, but nothing major. I retrofitted the alternator from a 2004 Crown Vic since they put out more amperage (it's a Mitsubishi high output alternator that puts out 130A @idle and 200A max). Due to this, you may hook up a great deal of extra electrical equipment, including a high-power sound system.All respective wiring was upgraded as well to handle the increased amperage. Currently, the car is fitted with a Clarion DXZ615 CD player, Kenwood front speakers, and Infinity rear speakers. Car also has cruise control (not all police interceptors have cruise control).
