Vehicle Detail

The item up for bid is a Custom 1979 Jeep CJ5. It has a Custom built 5.5" Spring Over Axle lift kit. The Rear end and suspension Has been stretched 10" for better ride quality and eliminate vibration and drive shaft angles. This Beast is powered by a rebuilt 350V8, with a 650 edelbrock carb., a high rise polised aluminum intake, dbl hump heads, Msd distrubutor, Hedman Headers, and dual chamber flowmasters. It has a sm465 GM manual tansmission, and a very stout gear-to-gear NP 205 GM transfer case. The rear axles have been replaced with one-piece high-strength Axles from alloy axles. I have installed Spyder trax wheel spacers(1.25") in all four corners enable to tuck the 38.5" x 11.00" Super Swamper Boggers. The rear corners have been comp. cut and two new L.E.D. round brake lights have been installed. In The front I have installed 14" shock hoops and brand new nitrogen skyjacker shocks along with a skyjacker steering stabalizer. I currently have the fuel tank in the back of the jeep, reason being lack of room and had plans on installing a fuel cell. As far as condition, the engine, drive-train, and body are pretty good. The body has a few spots of chipped paint and i replaced the floor boards with new inserts. It has no bad rust damage anywhere. The black and Green are flat paints sprayed with rattle can..although not bad looking. It has 15x 10 " Chrome wheels in good shape. The manual transmission has Sychronizer problems which is a cheap fix if you want to highway ride, but can be put off for weekend playing. Some of the gauges and wiring needs replaceing but keep in mind it is a 79 model. I just replaced the winshield last week and a new alternator the week before trying to tie up loose ends before selling. This jeep has an amazing amount of power and potential. It would make a great play toy or hunting vehicle. I will be happy to answer any questions so feel free to ask. Thanks and Happy Bidding
