My 1996 SL500 was involved in an accident a year ago. Before the accident this car was a 9 out of 10. A friend rear-ended a motorcycle which damaged the front end and deployed the air bags. After the accident I drove the car onto the trailer and into my garage. The motor still ran as perfectly as it had before and it tracked straight. I had intentions of rebuilding the car, that is why I bought it back from the insurance company. As you can see from the pictures, I started stripping the damaged parts off, excluding the cracked windshield. That being said, I ended up out of town and unable to work on it further and now my mind has changed....I bought a Viper!!! This Mercedes was awesome...drove like a dream...and was a looker!! The tires are 80% matching Michelins on nice stock rims. I have covers for the car, cover for the hardtop and the cart to hold the hardtop. Everything worked perfectly prior to the accident and someone with some bodywork skills could have a real gem here. Title in hand!!
