Vehicle Detail
This is an original 1970 911T . Started life in Arizona then came to Alberta in the late 90s. It's a bit of a barn find as it has been in storage for several years, last registration in 2004. Vin number 9110111235. Signature Houndstooth front seats, 6 deep six heart Fuchs 16 inch rims, S trim, flawless dash ( speaker grill has one crack), no cracks or repairs. Absolutely NO rust and is damage free, not a sign of any repairs, welds or body work. All panels, floorboards, battery boxes, front nose, rockers, jack points, door jambs are great with no welds, dents, repairs, or rust. One repaint ( Albert Blue 1810/1818 code 325) in the early 90s and it's showing it's age, car was originally silver code 8080 / 325. Looks good from 10 feet but a bit scruffy close up. The interior is good with original carpets and seats. The door pockets have been removed long ago but the door panels are fine. Panels are in the shape they came in, no water damage due to this car spending all it's life in dry climates. Headliner has no flaws, visors are great. Some of the exterior rubber seals are showing their age and will need to be replaced if the car is to be painted. The drivers seat has a bit of wear on the seat cushion and I have two yards of original Porsche houndstooth upholstery that goes with the car, seats are fine as is but it's nice to have the original material to replace them in the future. Glass is fine with no cracks, chips or gravel rash. Rear window still has the original 2.2 decal. Original engine 6108608 911/07, original transmission 710809. The following major repairs have been completed before the car went into storage: clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, throwout bearing, all four calipers, rotors, brake pads, brake hoses, four Koni shocks, fuel pump, tie rods, ball joints, 4 wheel alignment. Lots of receipts to document repairs and mileage. Car runs strong, smooth positive shift, newer tires. Owners manual looks like it has never been opened, some tools, jack, deep six Fuchs spare. I will ship this car worldwide and have contacts with local and overseas shippers. I'm a long time PCA member. This is a great car for a cosmetic restoration, all the mechanics have been sorted out. The only thing I see at the present time would be that the Zenith carbs do not like being cold, once they warm up everything if fine, remember the car has not seen much driving in the last 6 years, the best thing for this car is to give it a long drive. It is a solid and responsive driver. I have set a low reserve, do not ask, this is an auction and the car will go to the highest bidder. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the new owner but I will assist in what ever way is needed from this end. Contact me by email and I will send a photoshare link with 100 detailed pictures so you can see exactly what you are bidding on.
