1965 Mustang Fastback. An original manual transmission factory console car. Comes with a 4 speed toploader and a 1965 date code 289 engine. The engine has been rebuilt as well as the heads. The engine has been in storage and both the heads and block will need cleaned up. New lifters, pushrods and timing chain and gears. Also included, high performance 4 barrel FORD intake to complete the package. The mustang has had new floors,trunk pans and tail panel and lower quarters. NOTE. The frame rails on this mustang are very nice and look to be one of the very few I have seen with galvanized frame rails.. The mustang has disc brakes on front and drum on back. There is also a 302 in car now but was an original 6 cylinder. This is a fine platform to start building on. Still retains original fiberglass interior panels and also has fold down rear seat. All wires behind dash look to be original and untouched. Has a nice looking heater box and the cowl panel is also good as well as front frame and beautifull shock towers. I have front windshield it has some wiper marks it may polish out. I have the both vent windows,I have both the driver and passenger door glass. I THINK I have the back glass. I am making No promise on the back glass but again I think I have it. The mustang comes with a rebuilt 1965 289 engine. The engine in mustang needs fuel lines, wires done. It is not in running condition, needs starter, plugs, hoses. The transmission is bolted to engine. Linkage for shifter is there. The transmission is a 4 speed toploader. Also included is two new rotors they need cleaned up. There are also two rotors and one caliper on mustang. I have a third memeber included as the third memer is not in rear now. I got a title for this car and buyer WILL get a title for this car 7 to 10 days after sale. Yes, The vin numbers are on the aprons. Yes, There is a door tag on the mustang. The back seat trapdoor and foldown seat is all accounted for and included. I have only one front seat. The body is in primer, and has spot putty. The body still needs Misc welding Misc body work. You finsh the gal out to your liking. This is a nice clean fastback and will make someone a darn nice project car. Also the tires on the car are great and hold air. All headliner bows are in mustang.
