This is a 1997 BMW F650 funduro with only 11,900 miles. These bikes have a big following for a good reason. They are tanks. This one is just getting life started with only 12k miles. These bikes have been known to go 100k. This particular bike is in good condition with the exception of the scrape that can be seen in the pictures. The left side fairing also appears to have been repainted as it does not shine like the other plastic. I was going to repaint both sides flat black if I kept it. There is one mirror for the bike, but it is scratched pretty bad due to previous owner dropping it. It broke the mount as well for that mirror. It is just a $15 part from BMW and I can give you the number if so desired. It has a few more scratches and bruises that is to be expected of a bike of this age and type. I am trying to accurately describe the bike so there will be no surprises. It really is a nice bike, as the pictures show. These bikes are made to be ridden. Whether that be on the road or off the beaten path. I have recently installed a new o-ring chain, new air filter, new plug caps, new iridium plugs, a new Givi windshield, and cleaned the carbs. The tires are like new on the bike and should last for years to come. The seat on the bike is a corbin that is in good shape minus the small spot as seen in the pictures. It should be able to be repaired very easily. The panniers or luggage on the bike is Jesse Luggage. These are very tough bags and are very, very expensive. I do not have the keys to the luggage, but you should be able to contact Mr Jesse and see if he has some. There were not too many lock sets in circulation at that time. I also have two new oil filters and another new air filter that will be included also. The oil is due for a change and I may go ahead and do that before it sells.
