Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1989 Suzuki LT-160 Quad in great working condition! SEMI-AUTOMATIC 5-speed transmission with a Reverse Gear! That means it has a shift but no clutch! Very good for new riders! Electric start and it starts right up!! Always stored indoors!! Also included is the service shop manual! This quad has probably had less than 100 hours put on it since I bought it 6 years ago. I put new tires on it when I bought it. The tires show little signs of wear. Tires are Kenda Bear Claws in the rear and Kenda FrontMax in the front. I put a new battery in it last year and it starts right up whenever we ride it. I just started it up this morning and it is ready for the next family to have fun!! I really don't know how many miles or hours are on it. We only use it about once a week for an hour at most. It's only been used about 5 hours in that last two years. This is strong quad for both beginners or intermediate riders! I weigh 210 and easily pulls me up the big hill in my yard. It's small enough so a beginner won't be intimidated, but just big enough for an experienced rider to have some fun too. The semi-auto makes it very easy to ride. And the reverse gear is a great thing!! I believe I am the second owner, but I could be the third. We've owned it for about 6 years. Since I have owned it, it has been stored in my garage and only used by my kids to go around our yard and through the trails in our woods. No jumps, no stunts, no abuse. It has been well cared for. The body is not pretty and was been pretty beat up by the previous owner. It has been repaired with "Frankenstein stitching" as you can see in the pictures. The hood is held on with a bunjy chord. When I purchased it, the frame in the front was bent. I straightened it out and a welder friend of me reinforced it very well so it's probably stronger than the frame originally was. No issues with this at all. The headlight is off, but I have it. I'm only selling because my kids are older and they just don't show much interest in it any longer. I'VE DONE MY BEST TO FULLY DESCRIBE THIS QUAD IN FULL DETAIL - PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID. It is a great machine but it does show that it is a 21 year old machine that had been well used. We hate to see it go, but we just don't have the room to keep everything. PLEASE NOTE!!! THIS ITEM IS FOR LOCAL PICK UP ONLY so please be sure you have a Truck or Trailer available to pick it up. I accept CASH or BANK CHECK. No PayPal as this cannot be shipped. I've been screwed by a bad ebayer before so if you have no ebay history or bad ratings, the auction will not accept your bid, so please - experienced and serious bidders only. Winning bidder should contact me within 24 hours to set up payment and pick up. Please email me with any questions or concerns. Happy Bidding!
