1972 VW Camper Bus Offered for 3 days with NO RESERVE. Hi, Welcome to my listing. What we have for sale today is...a 1972 VW Camper Bus that is being listed for a friend. You are bidding on a ROCK SOLID, 1972 Volkswagen Camper Ca. bus. It has spent most of its life in sunny and dry Southern California. The exterior looks amazing for its age and is ROCK SOLID. It was repainted many years ago and still looks decent for it's age. It’s an original Walk-thru which is a MUST HAVE when owning a VW camper bus. The camper interior is amazingly clean and has a nice comfortable Westfalia Z-bed. The bus is really SOLID throughout. It just came out of storage, the bus starts and will idle...but will need tuning and or work prior to being driven. It’s currently registered in California with a clear title.This is a rare opportunity to own a 1972 VWCamper Bus in this condition. Keep in mind is NOT a restored bus. This is a nice camper which you rarely see offered for sale. Whoever ends up with this beauty will have by far one of the most SOLID DRY CALIFORNIA 1972 Volkswagen Campers around. This 1972 Volkswagen Camper is super solid. It has a very straight body for being 38 years old. It has a few small dings & creases here and there. This is what gives it the character it sports today. Again, this is an unrestored vehicle so it has minor blemishes throughout. There is some fraying on the front seats from the sun. The poptop canvas is in decent shape. The bus starts but needs a carburetor cleaning and possible servicing before being driven, however I’m not a mechanic and don’t claim to be an expert. Good news is all the floors, rockers, & doglegs are SOLID and untouched. It's hard to explain an old car in great detail because most everything will need to either be restored or replaced to bring it back to its showroom condition. If your looking for a project that you can drive with some effort? This is it, the only reason I'm selling is because I have accumulated too many toys and don't have enough time for them all. I would like to see this bus go to someone who has the time to finish it, drive it and show it off like it should be, and appreciate it's increasingly rare beauty.
