Hello and thanks for looking at my 2009 Toyota Matrix auction! I'm selling my car long before it's time. I had planned to hold onto this car for at least the next 15 years. But I just moved to New York City on August 1st and with the great public transportation here, there's really no need for me to keep this car any longer. I love this car and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it that I'm aware of. I bought this car brand new in Los Angeles at the end of December in 2008. So I've only had it for little over 1.5 years. This car has never experienced a harsh winter, or any cold weather for that matter. I used to take public transportation to work in LA, so my Toyota sat around all week in the subterranean parking garage at my old apartment complex. This is why the mileage is fairly low. I drove this car 3,200 miles from LA to NY the last week of July and it performed flawlessly. I own the car 100% and I have the title. The VIN is 2T1KU40E29C135595. As of 8/20/2010, the odometer reading was 12,106. This will change slightly as I move the car to comply with alternate side-of-street parking rules, and as I run the occasional errand around town. Here's the maintenance history of the vehicle: 1) 4/2009 or 5/2009-oil change at Pep-Boys 2) 11/19/2009-Recall: SSC 90H (brake system vacuum port campaign) 3) 12/2/2009-oil/filter change at Toyota dealership 4) 2/11/2010-Recall: AOA accelerator pedal 5) 8/12/2010-10,000 mile maintenance; Recall: 0923C2 90L Pdl & Flr Mod I have the receipts from this maintenance, although I can't find Pep-Boys receipt. I have two remote control keys and the instruction manuals that came with the car. The warranty info is also with the manuals. (2) I also mentioned in my original description that "I'd like for the winning bidder to accompany me to my bank in-person..." I no longer find it necessary for the winning bidder to pay the expense to come to New York City just to accompany me to my bank. Once the cashier's check is validated, you can come to NYC to pick-up the car. Or if you want to come to NYC with cashier's check in-hand, you must be certain that the validity of the check can be verified by my bank or you might be returning home without the car to wait until it can be verified.
