Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is an 89 full size Bronco. The front clip was changed out to the 96 style. The fender were new when swap was done. The doors and cap were changed out as well. the rest of the body is original and is in really good shape for its age although there are dents from use. The engine and tranny were both swaped in from a 95 f-superduty, it is a 7.3L powerstroke with ZF 5 speed. When the swap was done last year the engine got a new starter, waterpump, thermostat, oil plugs in the heads, valve cover gasket and glow plugs. The cluth and flywheel had already been replaced with a LUK solid flywheel and clutch. The raditor was replaced at the same time. The diesel radiator support was swapped into the truck as well. The tranny had the fluid was changed and so were the plastic guides for the shift lever. All of the factory wiring was used from the diesel truck, not just hacked into the bronco. There are no wire nuts, or romex like I have seen in other engine swap jobs. I did eliminate the power windows and locks, the radio and anything else I deemed not neccesary. It is wired into the stock dash and everything works short of the speedometer. The factory rear power window still works from switch on dash and at the gate. All of the guages work. When you pop the hood, or look in the truck you cannot tell that the engine didn't come in the truck from ford. The fatory 35 gallon fuel tank was changed out for a new 19 gallon tank(for ground clearance) and has diesel sending unit and lines. The transfer case is an NP205 with 1410 yokes and seals. Both drive shafts are 3 inch tubes with 1410 joints. Rear alxe is a 2 1/2 ton rockwell with USA 6x6 brake rotors and wilwood calipers and pads. The spiders are welded. Rear suspension is explorer pro comp 6 inch lift springs sitting on a custom perch. The front axle is a 2 1/2 ton rockwell U-joint style with a detroit locker. Usa 6x6 and willwood brakes. Wild horse coil springs and a triangulated four link set up. The lower links are made from 3/8"DOM tubing, the uppers are 1/4" DOM tubing. The heim joints in all suspension and steering are QA1 super heavy duty 3/4" joints. The tires are 44x19.5x15 super swamper boggers on USA 6x6 double bead locks. There are no plugs in any of the four tires. After several years of sealing the rims I finally have all four tires holding air. All of the lug nuts and studs have been replaced and are right hand thread. Both bumpers are hommade with lights and D-rings. I built the rear bumper so the top of it could be used as an air tank, but haven't gotten back to tapping it out for the fittings. There are also rock lights located up under the body in the middle of the truck. I will provide as much information as possible to the next owner. I have kept all the seal and filter numbers on hand, Stuff that you wont be able to just go look up in a book. I will gladly answer any questions you may have just give a call 315-480-7293. I will also arrange shipping with buyer based on sale ammount I may be willing to deliver for free.
